About ShowHub

Built for casts, not companies.

ShowHub is a free show management tool for theatre and performance casts — one shareable page holding your announcements, schedule, files and links. No app installs for your cast, no ads, no data selling.

Why we built it

Every show we were part of ran on the same cursed stack: a Facebook group nobody in the cast could find, a group chat where the call time got buried under memes at 1am, a Drive folder whose link expired before opening night, and a printed schedule taped to a dressing room mirror by someone who has now left the production. Stage managers became human message relays, repeating the same update five times across five apps — and somehow someone still missed tech rehearsal.

What ShowHub does

  • One cast page. Every production gets a single public page behind an access code. Cast members open it in a browser — no account, no app store, no "create a password you'll forget by Thursday".
  • Announcements that stick. Pin what matters (call times, cancellations) so it stays on top instead of scrolling away beneath seventeen messages about parking.
  • A schedule everyone trusts. Rehearsals, tech runs and performances with call times — the same calendar your stage manager sees, updated the moment it changes.
  • Files and links in context. Embed a Google Drive folder for scripts, scores and photos; keep sheet music and recordings a tap away instead of three email forwards deep.
  • Rehearsal tracks. Embed Trackshare playlists so the cast can run scenes in the car on the way home — or in the car park, five minutes before places.

What we don't do

No ads. No tracking pixels. No selling data. No "contact sales" wall. No onboarding webinar. No tier you have to climb out of with a credit card. We collect the minimum needed to run your show — an email and whatever your admin deliberately publishes to a cast page. The GDPR policy spells out exactly what is stored and how to get it deleted, in actual sentences.

Who it's for

Schools, community theatres, youth orchestras, dance companies, amateur productions, panto ensembles and touring shows. If your group rehearses on evenings and weekends and just needs everyone on the same page — literally — ShowHub is for you. Touring shows and full-time companies use it too - nobody gets a lesser version of the page.

Who made it

I'm Duckers — web developer, theatre tech, and the person behind ShowHub. I had an idea and look at me now. I also build small useful tools at duckers.dev.

Frequently asked questions

Is ShowHub really free?

Yes. ShowHub is completely free — announcements, schedule, Drive embed, shareable cast page and access codes included. No ads, no trial countdown ticking in the corner, no credit card field pretending to be "verification".

Do cast members need an account or an app?

No. The cast page is public behind an access code. Cast members tap your link in a browser and see announcements, call times, files and links. Nothing to install — which also means nobody can skip it by claiming their phone is full.

What can I put on a cast page?

Announcements (with pinning), a rehearsal and performance schedule with call times, an embedded Google Drive folder, custom links and folders, and Trackshare rehearsal tracks. Four sections, one page, zero scrolling through chat history.

Who is ShowHub for?

Schools, community theatres, youth orchestras, dance companies, amateur productions and touring shows — any group that rehearses in the evenings and just needs everyone on the same page.

Does ShowHub track me or show ads?

No advertising, no tracking pixels, no selling data. We store the minimum needed to run your show: an email and whatever your admin deliberately publishes to the cast page.

How do I contact a human?

Email help@showhub.app — that one is read fastest. The domain is a catch-all, so anything@showhub.app also lands in the same inbox: quack@, curtaincalls@, my-rehearsal-was-at-6am@ — all equally welcome. Please put something sensible in the subject line so we can find it again.
